An important update from Lifting Gear UK Group Ltd

We are excited to announce an important change within our Group structure. As of 1st January 2025, both Lifting Gear UK Ltd and Lifting Projects UK Ltd will trade under our parent company, Lifting Gear UK Group Ltd.

Since Lifting Gear UK Ltd began trading in 2007, our Group structure has expanded to cater for a number of ambitious growth projects. These additional trading companies, whilst pivotal at the time, have become expensive and time-consuming to service. This strategic internal restructure is designed to streamline our operations and reduce ever-increasing costs associated with financial and ISO auditing, multiple memberships with various governing bodies and trade associations, as well as reducing the reporting burden in being part of an International Group within Axel Johnson. By consolidating our trading entities under Lifting Gear UK Group Ltd, we aim to improve efficiencies across all aspects of our business.

As parent company, Lifting Gear UK Group Ltd offers greater financial strength than our individual trading companies. This enhanced financial stability will ensure our ability to meet the ambitious growth plans we have set for the coming years and enable us to continue improving our exceptional service offering.

What Does this mean for you?

We are confident this change will bring numerous benefits, including more efficient processes and an even higher standard of service. Our commitment to supporting you with safe and exceptional lifting solutions remains our top priority.

As from 1st January 2025 both Lifting Gear UK Ltd & Lifting Projects UK Ltd will cease to trade as separate companies and will become trading names within Lifting Gear UK Group Ltd, Lifting Gear UK & Lifting Projects UK respectively. Outside of this we do not foresee any material changes, our numerous accreditations and memberships remain in place and our insurance coverage remains unchanged. There are no changes to our current contact details, and we will honour any current customer and supplier agreements following the restructure.
