Group Appointment
Andrew Harrison – Group Finance Director
Andrew has been with LGUK for 10 Years, joining the company as an apprentice in 2010. During his apprenticeship, Andrew completed his AAT Qualification before becoming the companies Accounts Assistant in 2013. By 2017 he had become a Chartered Management Accountant, following a three-year course with CIMA, and was promoted to become Lifting Gear UK Group’s Management Accountant. He is currently studying to become a Chartered Tax Advisor and hopes to complete his final exam in the first half of 2021. Andrew has work closely over the years with the Managing Director and is well equipped to take over the financial management of the group.

Martin Fisher – Operations Director
Martin’s lengthy career with ATS culminated in Martin becoming Centre Operations Manager which laid the foundation for his transition into our business. Martin has been with LG UK for 6 years, joining the company as Regional Service Manager in January 2014. In less than 12 months Martin was promoted to National Service Manager working with the branches and staff to enhance operational efficiency. Martin was further promoted to General Manager in March 2017, overseeing the daily operation of the company. Martins progression to Director will enable him and the exceptional branch team to reaffirm LGUK as the market leader in the industry.
Mark Mercado – Commercial Director
Marks lifting career began in South Africa as an on-site inspector and sales representative for Kelmeg Lifting. Relocating to the UK in 2009 and struggling to find a lifting position Mark diverged into retail management then in 2012 took an opportunity to join LGUK as a hire controller at Manchester Branch his management skills were recognised and within 12 months was promoted to Branch Manager and successfully grew the branch over a 2 year period. Mark was then promoted to Commercial Manger and has been fundamental in developing this department over the last 7 years.
Lifting Projects UK Appointment
Sharon Keeley – Operations Director
Sharon has been with Lifting Projects UK for 6 years, joining the company as General Manager of Lifting Projects in August 2014. Sharon started her career in Lifting at the age of 22 when she joined Ainscough Industrial Services; a division within Ainscough Crane Hire, she spent all bar a short period of her career with Ainscough Crane Hire working her way up to Operations Manager of Ainscough Heavy cranes. She then move to a more commercial role within heavy cranes and finally Operations Manager for the lifting side of Ainscough Wind Energy. It is this background and wealth of experience that will serve her well in her new role.
